XXXTENTACION and Members Only producer Khaed has passed away. According to an Instagram post from fellow beatsmith and longtime friend DJ Scheme, the news started making the rounds on Thursday (May 16).

“Bra u can’t be gone bra come on,” he wrote in the caption. “TELL ME DIS SOME KINDA FUCKIN JOKE. WHY DIS WORLD GOTTA B SO FUCKIN CRUEL WHY YALL TAKE ALL DA GOOD ONES. RIP TO MY BRUDDA @eatdemons .

“WE WAS JUST TALKING ABOUT MUSIC AND BEATS I WISH I COULD OF DONE MORE FOR U BRA. IMA DO WHATEVER I CAN TO MAKE SURE UR KIDS ARE GOOD ON EVERYTHING I LOVE. RIP A REAL MEMBERSONLY GENERAL AND ONE OF THE GREATEST PRODUCERS EVER KHAED.”

Scheme also took his grief to Twitter where he continued expressing the utter shock he felt at losing Khaed at a young age.

“I can’t believe this,” he wrote. “Man what the fuck bro. Rest in peace khaed I love you so much bro this shit got me fucked up right now.”

Although Khaed suffered a heart attack last year, it’s unclear if his death is related to any kind of health condition.

Khaed was behind several of X’s tracks, including  “I Wonder If Bloods Watch Blue’s Clues,” “I Don’t Wanna Do This Anymore” and “Let’s Pretend We’re Numb.”

He also collaborated with Robb Banks, Ski Mask The Slump God and Wifisfuneral. The late X ushered Khaed into the family in 2015.
