Childish Gambino has partnered with adidas to create the Donald Glover Presents line. The beginning of the relationship starts with the release of three sneakers inspired by adidas classics, the Nizza, Continental 80, and Lacombe. Gambino gave away pairs of the shoes during his Coachella appearance to lucky festival attendees according to Pitchfork.
The announcement of the adidas originals line came by way of a series of comedic short-films featuring Mo’Nique. During the advertisements, the Queen of Comedy constantly roasts the multiple Emmy and Grammy award winner. The Donald Glover Presents line will be released April 26.
The Atlanta star also recently debuted Guava Island, a film co-starring Rihanna. The movie was well-received by Rotten Tomatoes and is available on Amazon Prime Now.
