Boosie Badazz Charged With 2 Drug Felonies

Boosie Badazz has been charged with two felonies stemming from his April drugs and weapons arrest, according to TMZ.

The District Attorney in Coweta County hit the Baton Rouge-bred rapper with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance, charges the state of Georgia takes extremely seriously. The firearms possession charge, however, was dropped.

Boosie was arrested on April 8 after Coweta County police pulled him over for failure to maintain his lane. During their search, officers discovered a loaded 9mm handgun, marijuana and over $20,000 in cash inside his vehicle.

Boosie’s bodyguard, Antonio Allen, was also arrested during the traffic stop. He’s been charged with the same two felonies.

If convicted, both men face up to a year in prison.

A Coweta Magistrate Court clerk said Boosie had his initial court appearance Monday morning. His charges include possession of marijuana, possession of THC and possession of a firearm during a felony.

Boosie was arrested alongside his bodyguard Antonio Allen. It’s unclear if Allen has also bonded out.

Boosie Badazz and his bodyguard Antonio Allen were arrested in Coweta County, Georgia after they were reportedly stopped by police on Monday afternoon (April 8). An officer observed a white Dodge Charger swerving lanes and nearly sideswiping another vehicle, according to TMZ.

After searching the vehicle, police discovered a bag of marijuana, loaded 9mm handgun under the passenger seat (where Allen was sitting), vape pen and bag of cash. Boosie was reportedly at the wheel.

WSB-TV reporter Steve Gehlbach tweeted both men are prepared to post a $3,500 bond.

“Rapper “Boosie Badazz” and Antonio Allen (claimed he’s bodyguard and confirmed NOT the former NFL player) arrested on drug and gun charges after traffic stop in Coweta County,” he wrote. “Both getting ready to post $3,500 bond. We just got update from Sheriff and will have Live report at 12p.”

This isn’t Boosie’s first run-in with the law. In 2009, he was locked up in Louisiana on a marijuana charge and then caught smuggling drugs into prison, resulting in more time. He was released in 2014 and was on parole until 2018.

    1. Many don’t know that Boosie was a child actor and was an extra in Cool Runnings. He was didled by John Candy but he passed away before an investigation could be brought up.

    2. Beat a murder charge then spends 8 yrs in state prison. You would think if anyone did 8yrs in state, once released they would completely stop doing ratchet shit with their ratchet friends right? RIGHT? Am I missing something unless State prison is like a vacation resort in the Bahamas

    4. Bodyguard = Unemployed homeboy. Dude should’ve spent the 150 bucks for the conceal permit. Or maybe he was a felon and couldn’t get one, which means he can’t have a gun anyway…

    5. IQ is a strong indicator of life success. Black people have an average IQ of 85. Borderline intellectual functioning is from 71-84, which is right above mild retardation. Hmmmm….

      1. Interesting why the site will allow these type if comments but will immediately delete any that criticizes how trash their knowledge of hiphop is

    10. Happy Boosie free!! 3 years ago when I was awaiting trial on a pistol charge all I would listen to Life After Deathrow and Gravy Train An American Success Story. End up getting probation. Those two albums go so hard!! They kept me focused.

    11. So they dropped the gun charge but not the weed? Shit sounds backwards but those small country counties are like that.

    12. Man I hate to see Boosie keep being dumb, I really like the guy’s attitude, but he is definitely a product of his environment. No excuses Boosie, get your shit together my man

    13. So he’s a convicted felon who was driving around with illegal drugs, an illegal firearm and 20k of drug money. I hope he is prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

    14. Haters I swear like all y’all. Mad cause u never had 20gs in your pockets and for sure never had a bodyguard

      1. (No sarcasm intended) Thank you, for being a productive member of society. Goof ball dumbos literally think living the fast life, making ill-advised decisions on the daily, and having no regard for human life is the way to go.
