ILL BILL and Stu Bangas have reunited once again. This time, the motley duo has joined forces for the 10-track Cannibal Hulk album, which was produced entirely by Stu. To celebrate the project, they’ve dropped off a new video for the title track.

“I first heard about Stu cos he was working with a bunch of my friends,” ILL Bill tells HipHopDX. “Guys like Sean Price, Slaine and  Vinnie Paz put me onto Stu. From there, I became a fan and we worked together for the first time in 2012 on my third album, The Grimy Awards.”

Stu adds, “I remember first hearing Non Phixion in the early 2000s. My boy bought the “Green DVD/CD” and I was a fan immediately. Back then, I had just been making beats for about two years. Fast-forward to now and I just did an album with Bill. This is a very big moment for me, and I want to thank him and everyone who supported it.”

“This is one of those records that appears to be about something obvious but is actually about something else entirely,” Bill explains. “Once listeners realize not who but what ‘Cannibal Hulk’ is, they trip and bug out off the record even more. There’s a twist to it. You’re gonna have to watch the videos and listen to the album yourself to know what I’m talking about, but it’ll be worth it.

“Being a comic book fan since before I knew how to read, a lifelong Hulk and Marvel fan, this project is the most fun I’ve had working on an album in a long time. It encompasses what made me fall in love with comic books and hip hop in the first place. It transports you somewhere else and that’s the kind of art I love the most.”
