The hype for Jordan Peele’s new horror film Us is buzzing. Now, adding fuel to the fire is 1990s West Coast group Luniz via the contribution of their new track “I Got 5 On Us” featuring Krayzie Bone and Damon Elliott.
Many Hip Hop fans’ interests were piqued initially when Peele released the official trailer for Us featuring Luniz cult-favorite song “I Got 5 On It” flipped to follow the tone of the ominous and suspenseful horror movie the Oscar-winning director was teasing.
For the “I Got 5 On Us” gritty visual, Elliott, Krayzie, Numskull and Yukmouth take turns trading vengeful, hard-hitting verses while reflecting on villainous portrayals of themselves.
