Tenured MC Self Jupiter is giving his fans a little peek into his writing process with the new single “Before I Kill The Beat.” Produced by The Burnin Giraph, the track comes from the Freestyle Fellowship OG’s forthcoming Sexy Beast album.
“This track definitely gave me space to stretch out and move around, giving the listener a full and rich presentation of a more subdued and polished me,” Jupiter tells HipHopDX. “It’s just me, my thoughts, a pen and pad and the beat, alone in a dim lit room.”
“Before I Kill The Beat” serves as the project’s second single and follows “Good Googly Moogly,” which was released earlier this month.
