Lil Xan’s girlfriend Annie Smith is speaking out after being accused of faking her pregnancy. In a statement to E! Entertainment, Smith said she’s upset the baby news is turning into a “negative thing” and denies faking the pregnancy.

“When I posted my YouTube video with my ultrasound pictures, a girl (I’m not going to comment on who) photoshopped them with another persons name, year, birthday etc, and uploaded them to Google,” she said. “I’m honestly really disappointed that we announced it and now this is the rumor floating around.”

Smith said she plans to stay away from social media for now.

“I’m traveling and stressed at the moment so I think for the baby and myself it’s best to stay in a positive environment,” she said. “I really am just staying off the internet for the time being because it’s really sad for me to see these things.

After Smith shared a nine-week ultrasound to her YouTube channel last week, fans started comparing them to images found through a Google search. The photo Xan and Smith revealed to the world appears to match a Google image of a nine-week ultrasound.

In the clip, Xan says he “cried” when he saw the image for the first time.
