Last night (February 23), Floyd Mayweather’s 42nd birthday bash wasn’t the greatest of times for Tyga.
While reports are scattered as to what led to the melee, several videos recorded the “Taste” rapper being dragged out of Hollywood’s Sunset Room by a security guard following a heated exchange with an unidentified patron.
Once outside, a visibly angered Tyga repeatedly reached for his bodyguard’s gun and apparently engaged in an argument after he wasn’t allowed to retrieve the weapon.
Following the aforementioned exchange, Tyga and his entourage dispersed without further incident.

A rep for the event released a statement that read, “The video that has been shared in the press and in the media of Tyga being escorted out of the venue was unfortunate and troubling. Though we are unsure of what exactly caused the altercation, we are certain that Floyd Mayweather and TMT were not involved. Tyga had arrived to the venue around 12:30 am, just 10 minutes before being removed. Security took appropriate measures to deescalate the situation and to do what was in the best interest of everyone’s safety.”
