DJ Kay Slay returned The Big Brother in 2017, his first album since 2010’s More Than Just A DJ. Evidently, making albums was something he was missing in life. Late last month, the music industry vet dropped another album called Hip Hop Frontline.

His fifth studio album is truly a star-studded affair, boasting appearances from Lil Wayne, Kevin Gates, Busta Rhymes, Raekwon, Bun B, Dave East, Cee-Lo Green, Moneybagg Yo, Styles P, Jim Jones, Mozzy, Joell Ortiz and The Lox, among others.

To mark the occasion, Kay Slay is back with a video “24 Hours” featuring Papoose, Bun B and Saigon.

“’24 Hours’ is a dedication to the legends that helped lay down the foundation of what Hip Hop is today,” Kay Slay told HipHopDX. “Although we are a part of a culture that does not like to pay homage or respect the history —  it appears to just be a money grab for most — I always make it a point to never let what these brothers and sisters have done for us be in vain.”

Hip Hop Frontline is now available via EMPIRE.
