HipHopDX Premiere

Philadelphia has had its fair share of rappers who’ve helped define the landscape of their environment and rising Philly rapper Kur is on his way to becoming one of them.

In the new Rick Nyce-directed video for his latest single “Crack,” Kur strolls through the city that raised him, rapping about the difficulties and triumphs he’s endured. Throughout the visual, he features clips of other Philly rappers to show his support for the Philadelphia rap community.

Kur dropped his How It Never Was mixtape in 2015 featuring the standout banger, “I’m a Star.” Immediately after the success of that project, he released Finally Happened, which showed off his unmatched motivation and work ethic.
