Sean “Slug” Daley and Anthony “Ant” Davis — collectively known as Atmosphere — have been pumping out music like their lives depend on it for over two decades. As the architects of independent rap empire Rhymesayers Entertainment, they’ve firmly established their niche.
As they continue on yet another massive nationwide tour, the Minneapolis-bred duo is back with a new video for “Stopwatch,” the fifth visual from their recently release Mi Vida Local album.
Directed by Ryan McPherson and produced by activist art collective INDECLINE, the video kicks off in a coffee shop where a young boy and (presumably) his father start breakdancing their way into people’s wallets.
After being stopped by police and ultimately getting out of that mess, their intention for the robberies is revealed — and it turns out to be pretty damn sweet.
