While Tekashi 6ix9ine awaits his trial from a prison cell block, TMZ has released surveillance footage of last month’s Beverly Hills shooting minutes after the incident went down.
6ix9ine and Kanye West were already on set to shoot a video for “MAMA” when bullets started to fly. Their other collaborator, Nicki Minaj, had not yet arrived.
In the clip, 6ix9ine is audibly distressed and fears the police will ask for his identification.
“They know I’m in here, right?” he says from a black SUV. “Goddamn get out of the car.”
When a man who sounds like one of 6ix9ine’s attorneys explains to him the police need to ID him, 6ix9ine replies, “ID me? I can’t. I’m on probation. I can’t …Tell them I’m not here.”

Two weeks earlier, a New York judge had sentenced 6ix9ine to four years of probation for his 2015 child sex case. The polarizing rapper was clearly worried another smudge on his record wouldn’t look good to his probation officer.
However, it turned out 6ix9ine had ample reason for concern. Shortly after the Beverly Hills shooting, the 22-year-old Brooklyn native was arrested on multiple felonious charges stemming from his alleged involvement with the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods gang.
His trial is set for September 4, 2019. If convicted, 6ix9ine faces up to life in prison.
