Federal prosecutors are reportedly looking into Tekashi 6ix9ine’s involvement in the Chief Keef shooting case. According to TMZ, law enforcement believes the incarcerated rapper implicated himself on tape back in May.

Prosecutors are currently reviewing the evidence to determine if they can tack on any additional charges. In June, several shots rang out near the W Hotel in New York City where Keef was staying. Police are looking into 6ix9ine’s connection to the incident as well as an alleged hit he put out on Keef’s cousin, Tadoe.

Feds are specifically looking at a videotaped conversation where 6ix9ine appears to offer a “30 pack” to take care of Tadoe.

6ix9ine is already facing a slew of charges in his racketeering case. He was arrested last month alongside his former manager Kifano “Shotti” Jordan and several other members of his entourage.

The controversial rap figure is currently being held at a New York facility without bail. His trial is expected to begin on September 4, 2019. If convicted, the 22-year-old faces up to life in prison.
