Kanye West may be in the upper echelon of musical artists, but even heroes have their heroes. On Wednesday (December 12), ‘Ye sent a Bat-Signal to folk rock legend Bob Dylan and indicated he wanted to talk — although about what is undetermined.
“Calling out to Bob Dylan,” he tweeted. “Let’s get together.”
The G.O.O.D. Music founder has worked on music with several legends in the past. For Rihanna’s 2016 ANTI album, Kanye joined RiRi and Beatles luminary Sir Paul McCartney for the cut “FourFiveSeconds.”
In 2007, Kanye teamed up with Madonna on “Beat Goes On” from her 2008 Hard Candy album. Three years prior, he joined Janet Jackson for “My Baby” off the iconic singer’s 2004 Damita Jo project.
Dylan, who likely doesn’t run the official Bob Dylan Twitter account, has yet to publicly respond to ‘Ye’s request.
