Chris Brown’s former manager, Mike Guirguis, reportedly wants copies of the R&B superstar’s past drug test records. According to The Blast, Guirguis filed legal docs on November 29 asking a judge to sanction Brown for $3,825. He alleges the platinum-selling artist blew off requests for the documents and is demanding to see them.

Guirguis was brought on to help Brown repair his damaged reputation following the assault on his then-girlfriend Rihanna. In 2016, Guirguis sued Brown for false imprisonment, assault, battery, defamation and breach of contract.

He believes if he can show the court Brown was on drugs during the time he was working for him, it will help bolster his case.

Guirguis also wants documents relating to Brown’s anger management treatments and a list of prescription pills Brown took between May 1 and May 10, 2016. He accused Brown of beating him up as well. Last March, a judge rejected a motion filed by Guirguis’ attorney to seize $1.5 million of Brown’s assets.

Brown denies his former manager’s claims. In fact, he accuses Guirguis of stealing money from him. Consequently, Guirguis added defamation in the lawsuit.

A judge has yet to weigh in on Guirguis’ request.

Brown has remained tight-lipped about any struggles with substance abuse. In a 2017 Billboard exposé, several people who had worked with the singer accused him of using several drugs, including cocaine, Molly, lean (a mixture of codeine and a fruity soda), Xanax and weed.

Brown dismissed them in an Instagram video.

“Y’all gotta stop with this angry shit going through drugs and all this other shit,” he says. “I’m tired of reading about some shit as soon as I got something popping. As soon as I wanna promote a tour, a party, a fuckin’ album, anything, y’all bring up something.”
