Migos’ Offset’s ties to the music industry apparently run a lot deeper than people think.
On November 16, Mr. Cardi B was feeling nostalgic and shared a well-worn photo of himself, several other youngsters and the late, great Whitney Houston and captioned it, “I BEEN DOING THIS ENTERTAINMENT GOD MY WITNESS WHICH ONE IS ME????”
In light of his recently published New York Times interview, where his mother revealed that he was a backup dancer for both Houston and TLC (two major musical presences in Atlanta at the time, let alone the nation), it didn’t take long for internet sleuths to find he was featured in the video for Houston’s 2002 single, “Whatchulookinat.”
While the verdict is still out on what contributions Offset blessed the CrazySexyCool trio with, he will get his chance to make his own contributions to Atlanta musical lore when he releases his debut solo album on December 14.
