XXXTENTACION was fatally shot in June, but he left behind what his mother called his “final gift” — a baby boy.
On Saturday (November 24), X’s mother, Cleopatra Bernard, held a baby shower for the unborn baby. Not long after, she revealed the name of X’s baby is Gekyume, a word X came up with before he died.
According to an Instagram Live video X posted back in March, Gekyume means “a different state” or “next” universe of thought.
Following the baby shower, DJ Scheme shared a photo of the event and promised to look out for baby G.

“Family first,” he wrote in the caption. “I promise 2 be the best uncle to Gekyume. We love and miss you brother.”
Bernard announced the baby’s gender in August but the identity of the baby’s mother remains a mystery.
