Nicki Minaj and Tekashi 6ix9ine (real name Daniel Hernandez) famously linked for “FEFE” back in July, and their collaborative relationship has been seemingly going strong ever since.
In fact, the self-professed Queen of Rap was in Beverly Hills earlier this month to shoot a video with 6ix9ine and Kanye West, only for it to be shut down after someone fired a gun at the estate where they were filming.
The controversial Brooklyn rapper was arrested on Saturday night (November 17) on racketeering and weapon charges, consequently delaying the release of his next album, Dummy Boy.
On Wednesday (November 21), Nicki addressed the delay and expressed her support for 6ix9ine — whom she calls “Danny” — in an Instagram post.

“For reasons beyond music, the record company will hold off on putting his project out for now,” she wrote in the caption. “Danny, I love you and am praying for you, your Mother, daughter & her Mom during this time.”
6ix9ine and four former members of his crew are facing 17 charges, including using or carrying a firearm during and in relation to, or possessing a firearm in furtherance of, a crime of violence, which was discharged. Three of the 17 charges have a maximum penalty of life in prison.
Prior to his arrest, 6ix9ine had fired his entire team and canceled all dates on a North American tour. He told The Breakfast Club they’d been stealing from him, accusations MTA booking later refuted.
