Following a two-year engagement, it appears Miguel and longtime partner Nazanin Mandi are officially getting married. Though the impending “big day” hasn’t been a secret — evidenced by Mandi’s August bachelorette party — the two sealed the deal by officially obtaining a marriage license at a Los Angeles courthouse on Monday (November 19).

According to a TMZ source, the couple signed docs this past Monday joined by some close friends who cheered with words of encouragement — followed by a group hug.

The couple first began dating in 2005, five years before Miguel signed his deal with Jive and released his debut LP, which included the break-out hit “All I Want Is You.” The Salaam Remi-produced peaked at No. 58 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has since been certified platinum.

No wedding date has yet been made public.
