Ellen DeGeneres is all about Halloween. On Tuesday’s episode (October 30) of The Ellen Show, DeGeneres brought out several kids dressed in their Halloween costumes.
The first little girl to hit the stage was intended to be Nicki Minaj. DeGeneres must have noticed something was missing. So, she decided to add a high heel to the 5-year-old’s head and claim, “This is the shoe that Cardi B threw at you.”
The infamous shoe-throwing incident went down last month during New York Fashion Week. The fight was allegedly sparked by comments Nicki made about Cardi’s parenting skills. The “Bodak Yellow” mastermind later admitted she saw Nicki like — and then unlike — a negative comment about Cardi’s mothering abilities.
The mounting drama between Nicki and Cardi then bled onto social media this week. Cardi hopped on Instagram Live and blasted Black Barbie for allegedly lying about, well, everything.

From there, Nicki addressed the allegations on the 10th episode of Queen Radio, which caused Cardi to unleash on her again.
The two seemed to come to a peaceful resolution following the online back-and-forth, but there are undoubtedly more chapters yet to be written in this story.
