Philadelphia, PA

Lil Uzi Vert’s musical drought is ending sooner rather than later.

The creator of the hit single “Money Longer” took to his Instagram Live, riding with his squad through Philly on dirtbikes and four wheelers. While hugging the back of one driver, he told fans his forthcoming sophomore album,Eternal Atake, is “coming out very soon.”

While Uzi has been teasing the Luv Is Rage 2 follow-up throughout much of 2018, his impromptu announcement gives fans hope the album will be dropping this year. But considering how vague “very soon” is, it’s hard to gauge whether he means this fall, winter or 2019.

No matter how long the wait will be, or how much he pisses off the Heaven’s Gate cult, Eternal Atake will have plenty of hype. In the meantime, Uzi listeners have to settle for standout guest features he’s laid down this year, such as Lil Pump’s “Multi-Millionaire” and Juice WRLD’s “Wasted.”
