On the heels of winning the Best Rap/HipHop Album honor at the Native American Music Awards, Artson has returned with a new video for “Focused” featuring MC Redcloud.
Throughout the 6:25-minute visual, the seasoned MC shins a light on his Native American culture and the spiritual journey he’s been on throughout his life.
“This track is one of the hardest hitting tracks on the album,” Artson tells HipHopDX. “We went deep on lyricism, word play and rhyme skill for the fans out there hungry for bangers and bars in today’s new Hip Hip era. But we also went deep on symbolism in the video, dishing up a highly cinematic portrayal of the spiritual struggle I went through to get to where I am today.

Born and bred in El Paso, Artson was headed down a destructive path during his teen years but he found the strength to turn his life around. Hip Hop was a beacon of light that took him to unimaginable heights.
