After the news broke that Method Man and Redman wouldn’t be starring in the sequel to their 2001 cult classic film How High, fans of the original weren’t too happy. Subsequently, a petition was launched to get the famous Hip Hop duo to appear in How High 2.

The petition reads in part, “This is a travesty and an injustice! We need your signatures to show that they need to be included in the sequel.”

Months before High How 2 production began, Meth and Red touched on How High and credited the film for teaching them how to treat people.

“I kind of learned my culture of being nice to people on the set of How High,” Redman told HipHopDX back in April. “When you have a set for anything, when you have the whole staff happy, like on our movie, everyone was happy to come in every fucking day. On some real shit.

“The grips, everybody,” Meth added.

Redman continued, “The grips, the people who sweep the floor, they were happy to come to work every day. That’s what I learned. That’s what I fucking learned. That’s why, ’cause I’m a nice guy anyway to people, but that’s what I fucking learned to really pass on that energy to one because once you’re an asshole, that shit spreads.”
