Quavo recently participated in an episode of GQ’s Actually Me series, which saw him teasing a Drake and Migos collaborative project while he was undercover on social media. But in a new interview with Power 106’s L.A. Leakers, Quavo admitted he was trolling with his comment.

“I was just fuckin’ with the people, but yeah, we on tour,” he said before noting the collaboration’s not implausible. “You know we got bangers. We can make ’em.”

In the GQ video, Quavo was responding to a fan on Twitter. The social media user brought up the idea of Drake and Migos teaming up for an entire project after the Aubrey & The Three Amigos Tour ends.

“You must be a psychic,” Quavo wrote back via an account named @ActualQuavo. “If that don’t tell you something I don’t know what to tell you.”

Although fans may be disappointed about the tease not being true, Migos have plenty of music in the works. Last week, Quavo said Culture III will drop in early 2019. Takeoff and Offset also have their own solo projects on the way.

Drake and Migos aren’t just touring together. Apparently, they’re also recording a mixtape.

During an episode of GQ’s Actually Me, Quavo went undercover on YouTube and social media to answer fan questions. When a Twitter user brought up the possibility of Drake and Migos releasing a collaborative mixtape after their Aubrey & The Three Amigos Tour ends, Quavo revealed it’s actually in the works.

“You must be a psychic,” he said in response to the fan. “If that don’t tell you something I don’t know what to tell you.”

Before the collaborative project ever becomes a reality, Quavo will be releasing his first solo album.
