Zion I is back with a new video for “Vision Quest.” Produced by DJ Fresh, the track features Eligh, OneBeLo, Illuminati Congo and, of course, Zumbi.
Throughout the roughly five-minute offering, each MC is illuminated by nothing more by faint lighting as they deliver their bars with nothing but precision.
“This track is a lo-fi posse cut from Zion I and DJ Fresh, which hails back to the classic era of boom bap,” Zumbi explains to HipHopDX. “The haunting melody is perfectly paired with the fractured snare and gritty kick in DJ Fresh’s production. We all come off showcasing originality and depth of content.

Zumbi is currently on the Free Rein Tour with reggae band Rebelution and Stephen Marley, which continues on Saturday (August 18) at the Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington. It culminates on September 9 at the Santa Barbara Bowl in Santa Barbara, CA.
