A friend of Bobbi Kristina’s, Max Lomas, died of a drug overdose in August. At the time, the Medical Examiner officially ruled Lomas’ manner of death as “undetermined,” but now there’s a definitive cause. According to TMZ, Lomas died of “fentanyl toxicity” and the death was ruled as accidental.

In July 2015, Lomas found Bobbi Kristina’s lifeless body in the bathtub.

Lomas faced a similar fate when a friend discovered him in a bathroom with a syringe in close proximity. Although he was taken to a hospital for medical treatment, he never regained consciousness and was pronounced dead on August 15.

Bobbi Kristina’s close friend, Max Lomas, has reportedly died from a drug overdose. According to TMZ, law enforcement officials said his body was discovered inside a Mississippi home by a friend on Wednesday (August 15).

The friend grew concerned after Lomas didn’t come out of the bathroom for an extended period of time. He went to check on him and found his body on the floor with a syringe nearby. He was taken to the hospital where he later died.

Lomas was the person who found Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown’s daughter unresponsive in the bathtub. He was accused of being the dealer who brought Bobbi Kristina and her boyfriend Nick Gordon their drugs, but he denied that was the case.

The 22-year-old died in July 2015 after being in a coma for nearly six months. As to her cause of death, the Medical Examiner said cannabis and alcohol were found in the body, along with a prescription medication used for anxiety and/or sedation.
