Fans of Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood may have been surprised by Safaree Samuels‘ admission to friend Ray J that he and singer Lyrica Anderson had crossed professional boundaries — but all Twitter could focus on was Ray J’s scene-stealing beanie.
In a terrible display of continuity on the part of the show’s editors, Ray J continued to grill Samuels as his hat comically danced around his head, sparking the #rayjhatchallenge. It appears that everyone — even Safaree — has been running with it.
“This hat thing is a new twist on reality,” Ray J said yesterday during a live interview on TMZ. “[It] took over an hour and a half to get Safarree to admit his wrongdoing. “I was stressing, the hat was stressing … this hat had a mind of its own.”
