Run-DMC legend Darryl “DMC” McDaniels was a recent guest on The Library with Tim Einenkel — part of the OG Podcast Network. During the interview, DMC spit an unreleased verse for an upcoming DJ Premier track, which was inspired by Public Enemy’s “Time Bomb.”
After reciting Chuck D’s original verse, the Queens native goes into his own.
“I’m the best in the world and you know I am,” he begins. “Respect all the girls and I fear no man/A microphone fiend like Rakim Allah/Better than everything that you got in a bar/You wanna be like D, you wish you could/You wanna battle me, boy I wish you would/Disrespectfully I will diss you good/’Cause the way I MC is just too hood.”

Toward the middle of the verse, he adds, “I’m putting this over a Preemo beat.” However, he didn’t reveal what project it would be included on.
As he continues to drop the verse, he laments the state of rap and women displaying their goods on social media, while imploring the youth to have more respect for themselves.
