Sunday 12-17– Two of the three founders of End of the Weak, Vice Verses and Prolific Wone, performed tracks from their album, Introduction 2 Insanity (i2i) at the Pyramid (NYC). They’re usually in host mode at End of Weak, but it’s definitely dope to see them perform.

Monday 12/18– Reports came in today that Pastor Troy was arrested in Atlanta, due to a parole violation. The arrest followed an interview on the city’s Hot 107.9 radio station. The rapper, who was on probation for driving offenses, was arrested after an anonymous tipster called the authorities to report that he was at the studio. Atlanta authorities took him into custody but the probation violations were unspecified.
Tuesday 12/19– BG has officially declared his beef with Baby over. B.G. decided to squash their beef and offer condolences and support in light of the tragic death of Baby’s sister, Tamara Williams.
Wednesday 12/20– The Ave Magazine had a party celebrating 3 years of offering alternative Hip-Hop news via print. Most independent magazines don’t make it past one year, so this was definitely a celebratory cause. The party was dope, and The Ave is getting better and better. Check it out on newsstands and at bookstores near you.

Thursday 12/21– Diddy and long-time girlfriend, Kim Porter welcomed their twin girls to the world. Their names are Jessie James Combs and D’Lilah Star Combs.
Friday 12/22– Monie Love is officially off the air in Philly. Her departure comes weeks after a heated argument with Young Jeezy on air. Sources are not confirming what her departure relates to.
Saturday 12/23 – DJ Carl Blaze, of New York City’s Power 105.1 has passed away. His death resulted from gunshot wounds stemming from a Dec. 7 dispute outside of a New Jersey apartment building.
