Nipsey Hussle Puts The Smack Down At 2018 BET Awards

Before stepping on stage at the 2018 BET Awards, Nipsey Hussle evidently had some business to handle backstage.

In a video making the rounds on social media, the Los Angeles rapper can be seen smacking an unfortunate soul in the face.

According to TMZ, the brief altercation was due to an argument over parking. Nipsey wanted to move some orange cones and drive through a restricted area to park his car. Nipsey’s bodyguard had an orange cone in his hand, but the man in charge of the parking smacked it out his hand. That’s when Nipsey delivered the blow.

A security guard grabbed him from behind to calm things down before Nipsey got back in this car.

Later in the evening, the Victory Lap artist performed “Last Time I Checc’d” with YG like nothing happened.

        1. I was watching fat boy in the black hoodie come to his rescue. Not to mention that the cop was right there. He knew if he slapped dude, it would get broken up before the security guard had a chance to do anything back.

    1. I bet he won’t slap a white boy at the Grammy Awards. Security may have behaved inappropriately but that doesn’t give you the right to slap him.

    2. Rappers eager to prove street cred at awards nights will never get old…your money is about to get played for exposure. If we didn’t fuck with your album before, we are not about to….

    3. Who the hell let Light Skin Snoop come out side wearing that big ass flannel shirt and those skinny ass jeans

    4. I did laugh at this initially but in all seriousness, is the slap worth the lawsuit coming Nips way? Parking attendant is about to exaggerate his injuries and his safety. I bet he about to claim he lost all vision in his right eye, he suicidal, he scared for his safety cause Nip is a “gangster”, psychological distress, etc etc and he deserves a 1.5 million law suit payday. SMH at NIp hold this financial loss and you not even active so WTF

    5. this is that diva type of shit that makes some celebrities unlikeable, when they carry that sense of self-entitlement that makes them think they can do whatever they want because they’re (some type of) famous. FOH with that shit. Park where you’re supposed to park or if you’re so important, have valet do it for you in the proper location. The dude was just doing his job and Nipsey reacts by slapping him? Not cool

    6. Or maybe he was just doing his job, and maybe he did tell them not to park there to begin with and maybe they refused to listen… who said Nipsey was “disrespected”, and who says he deserves a higher level of “respect” than a non-celebrity just because he’s a (B-list/C-list) celebrity? I like him as a rapper but his “celebrity” status doesnt give him the right to make his own rules and park wherever he wants.
