On the night Offset wrecked his Dodge Challenger in Atlanta, the Migos rapper got a helping hand from a man who was walking to work. With his assistance, Offset was able to make it to the hospital.
To thank him, the rap superstar decided to buy the man a new car to help him get to his job every day. On Wednesday (May 30), Offset posted a photo of the two posing in front of a shiny Nissan Altima.
“THANK YOU JMMAR FOR HELPING SAVE MY LIFE,” he captioned the photo. “GOD IS GOOD.”
In a video clip posted to Twitter, Offset explained, “This my boy … saved my life when I had that accident. He was the only one who seen it, help me get out the car, help me walk, help me get to where I needed to get to. So, I bought my boy a car ’cause, you know, he was walking to work when he saved my life. God is good.”

Offset’s accident occurred in the early morning hours of May 16. Once police arrived, the “MotorSport” rapper was already gone.
Earlier this month, he confirmed he swerved off the road to avoid hitting a “crackhead.”
