SZA released the visual for her gold-certified track “Garden (Say It Like Dat)” on Friday (May 18) and it’s just as dreamy as the song itself.
The video — directed by Karena Evans (“God’s Plan,”“Nice For What”) — features SZA on a tropical island, hair loose, dancing on a beach and singing about her insecurities in a relationship. The video also features SZA snuggled up with Childish Gambino as he plays her love interest. SZA recently made a cameo in Gambino’s internet-shaking “This is America” video.
“Garden” follows the video releases of “Broken Clocks,” “The Weekend” (directed by Solange), “Supermodel,” “Drew Barrymore” featuring Drew Barrymore and “Doves in the Wind” featuring Kendrick Lamar.
