Royce Da 5’9 has made good on his promise to add Eminem to his upcoming Book of Ryan album and they have unveiled the “Caterpillar” video for their undying fanbases.

In an upcoming episode of Soulful Sundays, Nickel Nine explains how the song came about.

“I knew as soon as I heard the beat, I knew I wanted [Eminem] on there,” Royce explains before elaborating on the process of actually getting Mr. Marshall Mathers in the studio.

“As soon I recorded [“Caterpillar”], I kinda knew.”

Ironically, this is the first time Eminem actually spit a verse on a Royce solo album.

Fans can also take delight in finding a version of “Caterpillar’ featuring Logic included as a bonus track on Book of Ryan.

The James Larese-directed video (with visual effects provided by Timbe) semi-doubles a lyric video and also features King Green on the hook.

Watch the “Caterpillar” video up above, look out for Book of Ryan on Friday (May 4) and Royce Da 5’9’s Soulful Sundays interview on May 6.
