After Drake gave anxious fans a 24-hour notice that he will be dropping new music Friday (April 6), a New Orleans bounce-inspired track sampling Lauryn Hill’s 1998 single “Ex-Factor” arrived in the form of a visual.
Diverging from his traditional female-banter of lamenting about his many relationships with women, he instead hypes up womanhood with lyrics like “You really pipin’ up on these niggas / You gotta be nice for what to these niggas?”
Tiffany Haddish, Issa Rae, Yara Shahidi, Jourdan Dunn and the Lejonhjärta twins all make an appearance along with many other women in the entertainment industry.
It’s not entirely clear if “Nice For What” will make an appearance on the 6 God’s upcoming album, but it is enough to get fans excited for what’s to come.
