A hashtag used by French Montana on Instagram on Wednesday (February 7) has swiftly landed the Moroccan-American rapper in hot water.

While striking a pose for the ‘Gram at Piarco International Airport in Trinidad and Tobago, French wrote the following caption:

“Immigration waiting for me when I landed in Trinidad but much love to all the beautiful people in Trinidad we had a blast #3rdworld #dreamers”

It was French’s use of the #3rdworld hashtag that particularly struck a nerve with some commenters in the Caribbean nation. They have since proceeded to drag the Bronx rapper in the comments section to his Instagram photo.

French Montana has since deleted the #3rdworld hashtag from his caption, but the roasting continues.
