Quavo may have left the Grammys empty-handed on Sunday evening (January 28) but new accusations suggest the ATL rapper may have still ended the night with a valuable piece of hardware.
Following the awards ceremony, Quavo, along with Offset and Takeoff, attended a Grammys after-party at 1 OAK in New York City. However, at around 4:30 a.m. the following morning (January 29), a verbal altercation between Quavo and famed Hip Hop jeweler Eric The Jeweler turned physical, according to TMZ.
The publication reports that the incident began when Quavo and Eric exchanged words over money the Migos member allegedly has yet to hand over to him. [UPDATE – February 2, 2018: TMZ later reported that it was allegedly over Offset’s debt.]
In a report filed on Tuesday (January 30), Eric reportedly told law enforcement that two men, one of which was Quavo, jumped him. TMZ reports that sources inside the club say the second alleged attacker was not fellow Migos members Offset or Takeoff.

It’s reported that after the altercation broke out, Eric left the club, suffering only minor injuries. He did, however, realize that his $30,000 chain was missing.
In a statement issued to Complex, Detective Sophia Mason confirmed a report had been filed for robbery and assault.
“A complaint report for Robbery was filed for a Robbery that occurred on January 29, 2018 at approximately 0430 hours at the address you provided,” Mason said. “The 25-year-old male complainant reported he was assaulted by a member of a musical group (Quavious Marshall) and suffered a swollen right eye. He also stated that his necklace was taken during the incident. There are no arrests at this time and remains an active investigation.”
