Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE) is ready to extend its takeover into 2018, with Kendrick Lamar and SZA dropping new music as part of a major movie partnership announcement.

“All The Stars” serves as the first single from Marvel’s Black Panther movie soundtrack, which will be curated and produced by Lamar and TDE CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith.

Director Ryan Coogler (who helmed Creed and Fruitvale Station) selected Lamar specifically, and worked with him and Tiffith on the soundtrack.

Lamar spoke about the project in a press release.

“Marvel Studios’ Black Panther is amazing, from its cast to its director,” he said. “The magnitude of this film showcases a great marriage of art and culture. I’m truly honored to contribute my knowledge of producing sound and writing music alongside Ryan and Marvel’s vision.”

The full tracklist has not yet been announced.

Black Panther hits theaters February 16 and Black Panther: The Album is expected to arrive on February 9.

Kung Fu Kenny won DX’s 2017 Rap Album Of The Year award while SZA won for R&B Album Of The Year, so yeah, we’re excited about this one.
