Despite Revival‘s lukewarm reception, Eminem’s ninth studio album will debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 for the week ending December 21, according to Billboard. Out of the 267,000 album equivalent units sold, 197,000 were traditional album sales. This accomplishment also marks the first time in history an artist has earned eight consecutive #1 album debuts.

Em joins an elite list of luminaries who rank as the sixth-most leaders in the Billboard 200’s history, including country star Kenny Chesney, pop queen Madonna and Irish rock legends U2. The Beatles and JAY-Z have 19 and 14, respectively.

Mr. Marshall Mathers’ last seven releases — The Marshall Mathers LP 2 (2013), Recovery (2010), Relapse (2009), Curtain Call: The Hits (2005), Encore (2004), The Eminem Show (2002) and The Marshall Mathers LP (2000) — all debuted at #1. His inaugural album, The Slim Shady LP, hit the chart at #2 in 1999.
