Tupac Amaru Shakur was known for his work ethic more than anything, constantly working, sometimes recording tracks simultaneously in different studios. Since his tragic death, his spirit has been kept alive more than a few times, thanks to the extraordinary legacy of unfinished recordings that the artists left behind. The commitment his mother, Afeni Shakur made to continue to get his complete body of work released, including the book series a the albums they’ve released since his death in September of 1996.

Now some of the recordings fom him most prolific period are brought to light for the first time on Pac’s Life (Amaru/Interscope Records), will be released November 21st. Other than one verse that fans will recognize from an earlier album, all of the recordings on the album are previously unheard.

Continuing in his legacy, T.I, Snoop Dogg, Ludacris, Keyshia Cole, Ashanti, Young Buck, Lil Scrappy, Carl Thomas, the Outlawz, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Big Syke, Papoose with production from LT Hutton, Sha Money XL, Swizz Beats and one of producers who worked closely with Tupac for a long time, Johnny “J”.

“I say it every time, that Tupac left us the blueprints to follow, and without the amazing contributions made by everyone of these artists, producers, musicians, everyone. I do not know how I would get this great task accomplished,” says Afeni Shakur, the albums executive producer, along with Tom Whalley , the founder of the Tupac Amaru Shakur foundation. “I believe whole-heartedly that Tupac sends the people he wants to these projects.”

A portion of the album proceeds will be donated to the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation, that provides training and support to artists who aspire to enhance their creative talents. To date, more than 500 students have benefited from the program with a broad range of training available via the Annual Performing Arts Day Camp held at the Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for the Arts, home of the foundation in Stone Mountain, Georgia. Students are able to study creative writing, vocal technique, acting, stage set design, poetry, dance, spoken word and conflict resolution.
