Los Angeles, CA

DJ Mustard’s travel plans went awry on Friday (December 8) when a TSA agent found a gun in his friend’s bag. Police at the LAX airport in Los Angeles detained Mustard and his pal after an x-ray machine discovered a loaded, .22 semi-automatic handgun, according to TMZ.

The hit-making producer was questioned but eventually released. His friend wasn’t so lucky though and was arrested. Cops determined it was his bag with surveillance footage.

TMZ tracked down Mustard after police apprehended his friend and tried to get information about the situation. The man behind singles like “Who Do You Love?” and “Rack City” denied knowing anything about the gun. The paparazzo later found Mustard as the producer attempted to leave LAX, asking if he’d bail out his associate. Mustard said yes but seemed frustrated by the continued questioning.
