Chicago’s production
trio, the Molemen, return with Killing
Fields
, their follow-up to their Ritual
of…
album. Producers Panik, PNS & Memo gather the
likes of some of hip hops finest emcees from each of their respected regions
throughout the U.S.

Kool G. Rap, Cormega,
Saigon,  Graph and others
make up the New York representation. Murs (of Living Legends), Del
& Casual (Hieroglyphics) and Myka9(Haiku
De’Tat
, Project Blowed) make up for California’s contribution. While
the Midwest talent is shown from JUICE, Rhymefest, Brother
Ali, Slug, Vakill and more!

Having a concept run
throughout the whole album (“in the killing fields is where you die.”) and a
line-up that will please any hip hop fan…this is definitely an album to check
for. Tracklist below:

After collaborations on Silly
Puddy
and Flow it was only a
matter of time before these Bay Area acts, Zion
I and The Grouch, (Living Legends)
team up to release an album. Entitled, Heroes
in the City of Dope
, which refers to Oakland and slightly based off a few
lines from Too $hort on his 1999
album Life is Too $hort (“a lot of beauty and hope has come out of
all the struggles here”
).

The album exults a display of different styles, from the
ever popular Hyphy sound to politically conscious lyrics. Production provided
by Amp Live (of Zion I), Eligh and The Grouch. Tracklist below:
