Atlanta, GA

The 2017 A3C Festival looks to be a good one. A3C announced the first wave of artists for this year’s festivities featuring a mix of Hip Hop greats and rising stars.

Nas, Ghostface Killah, Just Blaze, Joyner Lucas, Jay IDK, Saba and Kirk Knight are the first artists confirmed for the 13th annual A3C Festival and Conference, which takes place October 4-8 in Atlanta, Georgia. All seven men will perform on Sunday, October 8 at The Georgia Freight Depot.

“In January we polled hundreds of past A3C attendees and asked them who they wanted to see perform at A3C Festival this year. Nas was the decisive favorite,” A3C Director Mike Walbert told Billboard. “We produce A3C for the community so it’s exciting to be able to give our family what they want. Nas is one of best MCs of all time, and his impact on hip-hop is unmeasurable. Nas [has] done so much more than release music. He has become a notable figure in academia, technology and the investment community. The hip-hop world patiently awaits an album this year, and I for one couldn’t be more excited.”

A3C will continue to announce more artists, producers, entrepreneurs, creatives and industry experts over the next few months. Over 1,500 people are expected to participate in the upcoming edition of the festival and conference.
