The Met Gala is a lot of things. It’s a fundraiser for one of the world’s finest museums, it’s a chance for all the world’s biggest stars to pal around with each other, and it’s an opportunity for some of the most Instagrammable content ever captured.
One group shot, for example, featured Diddy, Travis Scott, Wiz Khalifa, Jaden Smith and Migos. Diddy liked it so much that he posted it to his Instagram as an example of “#blackexcellence.”
Only problem is he had to cut out Kylie and Kendall Jenner to do it…

Of course, Sean Combs is worth a ridiculous amount of money (but still not quite a billionaire, yet) — and you don’t achieve that level of success in the business world without some cold blood. Cropping Kendall and Kylie was just one of those things he had to do. Business is business.
It’s not as if the reason behind Diddy’s decision is a mystery. After all, the man wanted to celebrate black excellence. Nevertheless, Twitter pretty much exploded with memes.
