Karrueche Tran is beginning to make progress in her legal battle against her ex, Chris Brown.

Last week, the crooner was reportedly finally served a restraining order from Tran, which he had avoided for nearly three months.

And according to TMZ, Tran is fully prepared to face her former beau in court. The model/actress will reportedly testify that Brown kicked her down a flight of stairs, punched her in the stomach, and that he also made death threats.

With her appearance in court, Tran is reportedly hoping to serve as inspiration to other women who have faced similar abuse in relationships.

Back in February of this year, Tran filed her restraining order against Brown. And in her sworn statement, she alleged that the singer “told a few people that he was going to kill” her and “threatened to shoot” her.

Brown, who has denied the charges, was served with the restraining order during a celebration for his 28th birthday, which took place at a Houston nightclub on Thursday (May 4).

He later called a Shade Room post about being served a “super lie.”
