New York, NY

Jay Z will be a busy man this summer. Not that he’s ever not busy, but it seems Hov is giving music more time and attention, especially as The Meadows has announced he will be their headlining act for this year’s festival.

The Meadows Music and Arts Festival will run September 15 through 17 at Citi Field in New York and besides Jay Z, it will feature Red Hot Chili Peppers and Gorillaz as headliners. A wide range of Hip Hop will be represented, with LL Cool J, Nas and De La Soul performing for classic Hip Hop lovers while Future, Migos and 21 Savage will represent the trap scene. Tory Lanez, Run The Jewels, Action Bronson, Erykah Badu, Ghostface Killah, M.I.A. and Joey Bada$$ are on the bill as well.

Jay Z is also headlining his Made In America festival in September. These performances might coincide with Swizz Beatz’ declaration that Jigga is in “album mode.” The Roc Nation boss has been rumored to be working on his next LP that could feature Rick Ross and production from Zaytoven.

Tickets for The Meadows go on sale Wednesday (May 10) at 12 p.m. EST.
