Travis Scott is still riding the momentum of his Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight album with the release of the “goosebumps” video last month and his Birds Eye View Tour. But on a recent tour stop, the Houston-based artist promised the impending release of new music.

During a freestyle captured in a video posted to Twitter, he raps, “Dropping new music in a few days, ’bout to go crazy in a few days.”

Could this mean the start of the rollout for his Astroworld project? That album was promised to fans as the follow-up to Birds, but there hasn’t been much info on it lately. Perhaps there will be another collab with Quavo?

Scott had a similar rollout for Birds, giving teases of new music and release dates on tour while pushing the actual drop back several times.

The “Pick Up the Phone” rapper is finishing up his tour, while the New York stop is under investigation because fans were jumping off balconies. After that, he will join Kendrick Lamar on the DAMN. Tour in promotion of the Compton MC’s platinum-certified album.
