A$AP Ferg recently confirmed Cozy Tapes Vol. 2 is on the way, but in the meantime has dropped a star-studded video for “East Coast.” Aside from Remy Ma, who appears with him on the song, Rick Ross, French Montana, the Flatbush ZOMBiES and members of the A$AP Mob pop up throughout the nearly four-and-a-half minute affair. Directed by Ferg and Shomi Patwary, the video appears to mimic a street version of an awards ceremony circa 2000. “It’s that East Coast mother fucka!” Watch the video above.

Gift of gab f. A-f-r-o & R.A. The Rugged Man- “Freedom form flowing”

As legendary Blackalicious MC Gift of Gab inches closer to the release of his new EP, Rejoice! Rappers Are Rapping Again!, one of the album highlights, “Freedom Form Flowing,” has made its way to the internet. Featuring A-F-R-O and R.A. The Rugged Man, who recently announced a tour together, the track puts lyricism in the proverbial spotlight, and all three MCs murder the beat. Find more info here.


Veteran MC Kool G Rap has recruited M.O.P. rapper Fame and Freeway for “Wise Guys,” which marks Kool G Rap’s first single in over six years. It also serves as one of the singles from his forthcoming album, Return Of The Don, which is scheduled for a June 2 arrival.

Mary J. Blige f. DJ Khaled, Quavo & Missy Elliott – “Glow Up”

As Mary J. Blige’s new album, Strength of a Woman, continues to circulate, one of the project’s standout singles, “Glow Up,” is making the rounds as well. The track boasts additional help from DJ Khaled, Quavo and Missy Elliott.

Rick Ross f. scrilla – “Triple Platinum”

In support of his recent album, Rather You Than Me, Rick Ross has dropped an “unofficial” video for “Triple Platinum” featuring Scrilla. The raw footage was shot while Rozay was in Aruba for the Flip Flop Beach Festival.

E Jake – “barcotics”

Framingham, Massachusetts native E Jake has channeled a “hustler’s motivation” for his new 12-track project, Barcotics. His self-described “lifestyle rap” album was entirely produced by Yung Nab, and features Shady Records/Interscope artist Conway (the Machine), Jet Life Recordings signee and the Curren$y co-signed Corner Boy P, as well as E Jake’s fellow Power House Movement representatives, Jay Boston and Class B. Conway – “cooked in Hell’s Kitchen”

Speaking of Conway, who was recently signed to Shady Records alongside Westside Gunn, the tenacious rapper is back with a video for the loosie track “Cooked In Hell’s Kitchen.” Produced by Daringer, the song was originally released last year.
