Isaiah Rashad Previews New Music & Promises Fans Won’t Have To Wait Years For New Project

Isaiah Rashad just finished the North American run of his Lil Sunny Tour and is apparently feeling refreshed enough for new music.

Yesterday (April 3), the TDE rapper tweeted that fans can expect music more frequently from him. The timespan between his debut project on the label, Cilvia Demo, and his first official album, The Sun’s Tirade was over two years.

Rashad also shared with DJ Booth that he’s going to be more open with his fans.

“I’m officially giving myself to my supporters,” the Tennessee native said. “I’m done being a hermit.”

To make his point even stronger, he previewed new music from his phone, which he’s clearly vibing to.

The Sun’s Tirade received a 4 out of 5 in HipHopDX’s rating and was named among the 20 Best Rap Albums of 2016.

Over the weekend, TDE boss Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith previewed some of the West Coast label’s upcoming releases, although he made no mention of how Rashad fit into the schedule.

    1. I saw him in New Haven, CT last night. For some reason the openers weren’t there so he came out and rambled incoherently for God knows how long. Even his DJs were telling him to cut it. Did it again when he came back out to perform. dude was fuckin wrecked. he has pretty good songs I have no clue what was going on last night. dude was mad emotional.

        1. First time seeing him. I was mad hyped cuz his album was pretty dam good and he’s got talent. Me and my friends all looked at each other like wtf is happening rn. Then our song “wat’s wrong” came on and he barely even rapped it lol just sang extra at the end. he was just wrecked.

    2. Who os this dude? Not Kendrick Lamer? This dude tryin to be a southern Kendrick. TDE is garbage including Lamar. Over hyped label of the century. They’ll never top T.P.AB in sales and I hated that album. Only good album they got that I still listen to is Section 80 but I still skip thru half of that garbage. These dudes need to step down and let some real underground m.c’s shine for a bit.
