Queens rapper 50 Cent has addressed his absence from a touring stint with Chris Brown.

He says it wasn’t an issue with Brown himself, who he described as a friend, but more an issue of organization and timing that caused him to back out of the tour.

“I would never say my friends can’t afford me,” he wrote in the caption of an image of a TMZ story that claimed the issue was about money. “This run wasn’t handled correctly, I’m still on set filming Den of Thieves.”

50 has been regularly posting shots from the set of Den of Thieves, his upcoming heist film that stars Gerard Butler.

TMZ reported Friday that 50 Cent walked away from Breezy’s The Party Tour after being unable to settle on a price point with promoter Live Nation. The publication says 50 and Brown’s people had agreed to a sum separately but that when the promoter was eventually brought in, their offer was “hundreds of thousands of dollars apart.”

50 reportedly declined the offer and never signed any contract, but was promoted as an act on the tour, even after he chucked the deuces.

The first stop on the tour is scheduled for today (March 31) in Baltimore, Maryland.

Unfortunately for fans of Fiddy who bought tickets to see him, TMZ says no refunds will be issued because of the rapper’s absence, since Brown is the headliner.

The Party Tour is slated to stop in dozens of cities across the United States and will feature appearances from Kap G, O.T. Genasis, and Brooklyn rhymer Fabolous.
