Rap mogul Nicki Minaj has been the topic of discussion lately and she’s giving the people more to talk about with her new modeling contract with Wilhelmina Models’ celebrity division, VOGUE reports. She will join Nick Jonas, Shawn Mendes and Demi Lavato, among other notable talent.
“I love the synergy between my music and how it inspires my fashion,” The “No Frauds” Rap Queen tells VOGUE. “My message is always about celebrating your own style. I’m thrilled and honored to have signed with Wilhelmina. They get me.”
Minaj and Wilhelmina will work together to secure endorsement deals, fashion and beauty campaigns as well as more editorial print opportunities.
She was the face of Roberto Cavalli’s Spring 2015 collection and the fashion world embraced her presence at Paris Fashion Week this year as she wore a Picasso La Femme à l’Éventail-inspired piece that sparked comparison’s to Lil Kim’s infamous 1999 MTV Video Music Awards outfit, all while Remy Ma’s release of “SHETHER” was just on her to-do list of things to get back to later.

In addition to adding profession model to her resume, Nicki made Billboard history this month for the most Hot 100 hits of any female in the music chart’s 58-year history.
